Inspired by Under Armour’s iconic motto “Protect This House,” the tournament brought players together in a Texas Scramble format to celebrate performance, unity, and community on the fairway.
Rawang, 19 August 2025 – Under Armour, in partnership with MST Golf, hosted UA Golf Day on 13 August 2025, gathering golf enthusiasts for an engaging 2-ball Texas Scramble tournament designed to highlight teamwork and camaraderie on the course.
Held at the scenic Templer Park Golf Club, the tournament featured notable participants including professional golfer and Under Armour ambassador Casper Loh, who teamed up with musician and solo uilleann piper and saxophonist Faliq Auri. Lifestyle content creators Anis Athirah and Iman Lissa also took part, with actor Eden See and golfing content creator Cloe Lee joining the competition. Each participant showcased not only their golf skills but also the team spirit that defined the day.

To enhance the experience for golfers and reward top performers, Under Armour collaborated with partners including Garmin, TaylorMade, and Safilo, who sponsored tournament prizes such as a smartwatch, a golf bag, and several pairs of Under Armour eyewear. Upbound also contributed by providing energy drinks to keep players refreshed throughout their rounds.
Celebrating teamwork and friendly competition, the tournament awarded the top five teams a combined total of RM15,000 in Under Armour vouchers. The winners were:
- Team Champion: Lim Beng Hor and Yap Choon Boon — RM5,000 in Under Armour vouchers (43 points)
- 1st Runner-up: Mohd Pizul Hazmi and Dato’ Shamsuar Mahmood — RM4,000 in Under Armour vouchers (42 points)
- 2nd Runner-up: Mohd Radzi Rahmi and Ahmad Firdaus Ahmad — RM3,000 in Under Armour vouchers (40 points)
- 3rd Runner-up: Sek Jin Hau and Ng Sze Shong — RM2,000 in Under Armour vouchers (40 points)
- 4th Runner-up: Mohd Razif Abdul Halil and Muhammad Akbar Ismahadi — RM1,000 in Under Armour vouchers (40 points)
Reflecting Under Armour’s commitment to performance, the Longest Drive title was awarded to Muhammad Nassar Sanusi, who delivered an impressive 309.2-yard drive on Hole 5, earning RM1,000 worth of Under Armour products.
Beyond the competition, all tournament participants received exclusive goodie bags from Under Armour’s UA Golf range, featuring apparel and accessories valued at up to RM500.
