MST Golf unites employees, partners, and customers in a beach clean-up, raising awareness on responsible waste management, marine life and plastic use.
Banting, 3 September 2025 – MST Golf Group, Malaysia’s leading golf retailer and service provider, rallied its community for a beach clean-up at Pantai Morib Baharu on 23 August, reinforcing its commitment to environmental stewardship. The initiative, held in collaboration with Reef Check Malaysia and GZW RETURN™ (GZW), was part of MST Golf’s Community Give Back Day under its sustainability pillar, Resilient Environmental Stewardship.
The clean-up brought together 85 participants, including MST Golf employees, family members, customers, and brand partners such as Cobra, Garmin, and Under Armour. Together, the initiative resulted in a collection of 181.6 kilogrammes of waste along the shoreline. Volunteers were guided by Reef Check Malaysia on coastal conservation practices, while GZW ensured responsible waste management of the waste collected. In line with the Group’s green practices, MST Golf also partnered with Opack to provide reusable meal boxes, cutting down the use of 85 single-use plastic containers.
Mr. Ng Yap, Group CEO of MST Golf Group emphasised the significance of the initiative stating, “I was pleased to see our employees, brand partners, family, and friends come together on a Saturday morning working hand-in-hand to support this important initiative under our #GolfForGood platform. While we successfully cleaned the beach for the day, the greater impact was giving participants—especially those experiencing this for the first time—a firsthand understanding of the harm of microplastics to our marine life, and why every individual’s effort matters in doing our part for our planet.”

The event not only left Pantai Morib cleaner but also built a platform for collaboration across the golf community and beyond.
