MST Golf Health & Safety Week 2025

MST Golf held its annual Health & Safety Week 2025 from 9 to 13 June at MST Golf Plaza, Subang Jaya, as part of its ongoing commitment to employee well-being under the Company’s Caring and Responsible Employer sustainability pillar. This is part of the Group’s initiative to drive its Employee Health and Safety 2025 targets of:

  • Maintain zero work-related fatalities in 2025

  • 100% of employees trained in occupational health and safety procedures by the end of 2025

The week-long programme focused on cultivating a safer, healthier, and more supportive workplace environment through a series of engaging activities, expert-led sessions, and employee wellness services. It was well received by employees from across departments, reflecting the importance of health and safety as a shared responsibility.

A key highlight of the week was the fire safety and evacuation drill, conducted with the support of the Subang Jaya Fire & Rescue Department (Bomba). This practical session helped employees familiarise themselves with emergency response procedures and build confidence in workplace safety.

In addition, select employees attended dedicated Bomba and Basic Life Support trainings, equipping themselves with hands-on emergency response skills to stay prepared in the event of critical situations. These sessions reinforced the importance of proactive safety readiness at all levels of the organisation.

To encourage proactive health management, a range of free health and wellness services, including eye tests by Focus Point, dental screenings by Enact Dental Clinic, health checks (BMI, glucose, blood pressure) by iHeal Medical Centre, and chiropractic/physiotherapy assessments by Spinalive. These services offered employees personalised insights into their health and encouraged early intervention.

Complementing the screenings were informative talks on topics such as oral hygiene, workplace ergonomics, and social protection rights under PERKESO. These sessions provided employees with useful knowledge and practical tips to care for their health both at work and at home.

The talks delivered by various external agencies during the programme were:

  • Periodontal Disease and Oral Hygiene Tips
  • PERKESO Protection Schemes and Benefits
  • Workplace Ergonomics

In a move to support inclusivity and period wellness, menstrual care packs were distributed to all female employees in collaboration with Blood Malaysia.

Employees also enjoyed a kombucha tasting booth by BOOCHA, highlighting the benefits of gut health as part of balanced living. Meanwhile, the presence of Graze Market offered a selection of surplus fresh produce and food products, reinforcing sustainable consumption and food waste reduction in the workplace.
