LA GOLF, a rapidly rising brand in the global golf market, staged its product launch at Sentosa Golf Club on Thursday, April 27, during the week of the inaugural LIV Golf Singapore.
The launch event was co-organised with MST Golf, the region’s leading golf retailer and golf services provider, who will be LA GOLF’s exclusive distributor in Southeast Asia.
Founded in 2020, LA GOLF is committed to delivering superior performance with its state-of-the-art products including golf shafts, putters and golf balls. The brand’s CEO and founder, Reed Dickens, has a history of disrupting the sports equipment market, having previously co-founded Marucci Sports which is now the leading bat brand in Major League Baseball.
With a focus on innovation laced with an injection of Beverly Hills-soaked energy and style, LA GOLF has attracted golf superstars Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau and Michelle Wie as investors, ambassadors and advisors.
“The launch of LA GOLF in Singapore during the LIV Golf event is just the beginning of our global expansion,” said the founder and CEO of LA GOLF, Reed Dickens.
“In LA Golf, we’re trying to be different to the status quo, we want to change things and shake things up. Our focus on innovation and player partnerships has enabled us to create the most technologically advanced products in the market. Thank you to MST, you’ve been wonderful partners and we’re excited to share our vision with golfers in Southeast Asia through our partnership with MST Golf.”
MST Golf’s partnership with LA GOLF is a prime example of the organisation’s rapid expansion and continuous commitment to offer the latest and most advanced products to its customers.
“We are excited to bring in LA GOLF to Southeast Asia, offering golfers across this region their range of technologically advanced products. Our partnership with LA GOLF started with our academy partner, The Golf Lab, where we jointly developed a Speed Set Protocol for club fitting using LA GOLF shafts. We look forward to working closely with LA GOLF and building the brand’s market position in the region,” said MST Golf Group CEO Ng Yap.
LA GOLF’s range of shafts, putters and balls boast cutting-edge innovations developed with direct input from its player partners. These include the brand’s latest Gen 2 putters and their recently-developed golf ball.
Released in February, the Bel-Air and Malibu putters each feature descending loft face technology, the P-Series anti-vibration shaft and the largest sweet spot in the market at just under 7,000 MOI (Moment of Inertia). Meanwhile, the new LA GOLF balls are set to make waves in the market with a four-piece construction that allows golfers to achieve both distance and control, freeing them from the dilemma of choosing between the two.
LA GOLF products have touched down in MST Golf Stores in Malaysia and Singapore and will soon be seen on the shelves of other key golf retailers in the region.
