On 22nd April 2025, in conjunction with Earth Day, MST Golf proudly reaffirmed its commitment to a greener, more sustainable future through a series of meaningful initiatives. Organised by the company’s Sustainability team, this year’s International Mother Earth Day was celebrated under the theme ‘Our Power, Our Planet’, reflecting the collective responsibility and capability each of us holds in protecting and preserving the environment.
The activities were thoughtfully designed not only to raise awareness on environmental responsibility but also to engage employees at every level in simple, impactful actions that collectively contribute towards a healthier planet.
One of the key highlights of the day was the return of the popular Plogging 4.0 activity at MST Golf Malaysia HQ. A combination of jogging and litter picking, ‘plogging’ has become a signature initiative under MST Golf’s sustainability programmes. This year, over 30 employees volunteered their time and energy to clean the surrounding areas, successfully collecting a total of 81.5 kilograms of waste. The activity not only encouraged physical wellness but also showcased the tangible difference that can be made through collective environmental action.
Further amplifying the Earth Day spirit, employees were invited to participate in ‘Green Vibes at Work’ by wearing green outfits and bringing a house plant to their workstations. The initiative aimed to nurture a sense of connection with nature within the workplace while serving as a visual reminder of the importance of integrating green practices into daily routines.
In alignment with global energy conservation efforts, MST Golf also observed a ‘Power Down Hour’ across all Head Offices and Warehouses in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. During the designated lunch break, all non-essential lights, air-conditioning units, and electrical appliances were switched off to reduce energy consumption and promote energy-saving habits.
Through these initiatives, MST Golf continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to embedding sustainability into the company’s culture and day-to-day operations. While these actions may seem modest, their collective impact lays a strong foundation for long-term environmental stewardship.
