We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team and drive pricing strategies and inventory planning. This role is key to optimising profitability through data-driven decision-making and effective collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities
Drive improvements in contribution margin and overall company profitability through strategic pricing.
Monitor product lifecycles to initiate timely markdowns.
Identify and manage slow-moving or overstocked inventory; develop and implement effective clearance strategies.
Prepare and analyse reports on sell-through rates, markdown effectiveness, and promotional performance.
Collaborate closely with the retail, buying, marketing, and merchandising teams to identify issues and opportunities that impact inventory and sales performance.
Qualifications / Skills Needed
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Retail & Consumer Products.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed pricing decisions.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with retail pricing strategies and best practices
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other Office applications is a plus.
Fresh graduates with strong analytical aptitude may be considered for a junior role.
