Job Summary

 We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Golf Consultant to join our team. This role combines golf expertise with outstanding service, sales, and operational skills.

Responsibilities

  1. Golf Consulting & Customer Service
  • Provide expert guidance on golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and personalised club fittings.
  • Offer tailored advice to enhance customers’ shopping experience and game performance.
  • Professionally handle customer inquiries and complaints.

 

  1. Sales Commitment
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets through recommendations and cross-selling.
  • Support in-store promotions and local golf events.
  • Stay up-to-date on golf products, trends, and promotions.

 

  1. Inventory Management
  • Maintain organised, fully stocked shelves.
  • Assist with inventory checks, cycle counts, and stocktaking.
  • Report low-stock or overstock situations to optimise inventory.

 

  1. Store Operations & Safety
  • Keep the store clean, organised, and professional.
  • Ensure merchandise follows visual merchandising standards and participate in daily upkeep.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and store security.

 

  1. MST Golf Membership
  • Encourage and guide customers through membership registration.
  • Promote membership benefits, including discounts, events, and perks.
  • Build customer loyalty through personalised service and follow-ups.

Qualifications / Skills Needed

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably within the golf industry.
  • Strong knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Passion for golf and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including opening and closing hours.
