As part of our commitment to sustainability, we engaged climate change warriors, Kitaran, to conduct a plastic upcycling workshop last Thursday with our employees. It was an enriching experience for team MST Golf as they got to experience the 3-step process of shredding, injecting, and finishing to create carabiners from recycled type 2 and type 5 plastics. This workshop not only showcased the transformative power of recycling single-use plastic but also highlighted the potential in giving plastic a new purpose.
Better Environment: Redefining Plastic’s Purpose
Through the upcycling process, we are redefining the purpose of plastic. Instead of contributing to landfills, plastic is reborn as useful and aesthetic items, reducing our environmental footprint. This initiative aligns seamlessly with our pledge to contribute to a healthier, more sustainable planet.
Better People: Empowering Through Knowledge and Action
The Plastic Upcycling Talk and Workshop empowered our team with knowledge and actionable insights. Understanding the 3-step process not only provided a tangible skill set but also instilled a sense of responsibility towards sustainable practices. We believe in uplifting our people, making them ambassadors for positive change within and beyond our organisation.
